Note: An error was made during the 2005 commencement ceremonies at Milford High School. It was nice that Christopher was remembered, but he was unfortunately referred to as having died in an automobile accident which is entirely incorrect. To set the record straight, Christopher was violently killed in the lower level of his home by Todd Wood and Arnold Terrell, deputies of the Oakland County Sheriff's Department. In a matter of seconds they fired 18 shots at Christopher, hitting him 10 times in the legs, body and head. He died on the spot. He was 16 years old at the time.
