Indian Springs Metropark Memorial

There is a bench memorializing Chris along one of the nature trails in the Indian Springs Metropark. Indian Springs is located in White Lake Township. The main entrance is located off of White Lake Road, which runs north of M-59 (Highland Road). Starting from the Nature Center, the round trip walk to the bench and back is probably a couple of miles over flat terrain. Chris' bench is located across the trail from the only pond in the park containing aquatic newts. The walk is pleasant and peaceful, but you may wish to bring along some bug spray to use when going through the woods. Chris was always one who enjoyed the out-of-doors and nature. This memorial is something he would have liked. |
